Southwark on Reed - Elevations
Mt. Sinai Hospital Site Redevelopment
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - 2016-17
Wrapping exhisting plans provided in Federal and Italianate Philadelphia row-home styles, Southwark organized an entire city block, home to the shuttered Mt. Sinai hospital, into a new fabric fitting to the adjacent neighborhood. Plans included inset porches to maintain the historically appropriate flat facades and roof-top lofts with decks similar to the pop-top additions of historic rowhomes ubiquitous throughout the city.
Roles: Design creation of historical styled façades, building composition, site modeling and addition of roof deck.
